Principal Indonesia Expands Mutual Fund Access Through New Distribution Partnership with PT Bank KEB Hana Indonesia
29 OCTOBER 2025, Jakarta – PT Principal Asset Management (“Principal Indonesia”) has established a mutual fund distribution partnership agreement with PT Bank KEB Hana Indonesia (“Hana Bank”) to provide access to Principal mutual fund solutions through Hana Bank branches and MyHana Mobile Banking. Through this partnership, Principal Indonesia will offer three mutual fund solutions — Reksa Dana Principal Cash Fund (IDR), Reksa Dana Indeks Principal Index IDX30 (IDR), and Reksa Dana Syariah Principal Islamic ASEAN Equity Syariah (USD) to provide a variety of options to best optimize investment portfolios.

The mutual fund solutions being offered through the partnership offer a variety of options to meet investor interests. The Reksa Dana Principal Cash Fund caters to those with a low-risk profile, while the Reksa Dana Indeks Principal Index IDX30 caters to those with a high-risk profile. The Reksa Dana Syariah Principal Islamic ASEAN Equity Syariah (USD) is focusing on ASEAN market with USD denomination, designed for investors with a high-risk profile.
According to the Indonesian Capital Market Statistics Report from The Indonesia Central Securities Depository (KSEI) as of December 2024, the number of mutual fund investors in Indonesia has increased by 51%* – highlighting significant interest and growth. This partnership provides additional opportunities to access mutual funds as Indonesians seek to pursue this investment vehicle.
Customers and prospects can subscribe to the mutual fund solutions through Hana Bank branches (for IDR and USD funds) and MyHana Mobile Banking which is equipped with Hana AIdvisor feature to help customers achieve optimal returns with risks that can be adjusted according to their risk profiles (for IDR products).
